Work With Craft

Location: Remote (US Only)
Hours: 10-15 hours per week

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented contract web developer to join our team on a part-time basis (10-15 hours per week). In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing existing client websites, as well as supporting our team on full site builds. Your primary focus will be ensuring adherence to web standards and a commitment to creating accessible, user-friendly websites.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain and update existing client websites, as well as provide support on new site builds. Familiarity with Craft CMS is a significant plus
• Develop new features based on client requests and project requirements
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues/bugs
• Ensure website compliance with web standards and accessibility guidelines
• Collaborate with design and development teams to ensure technical feasibility and timely execution of projects
• Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code

REQUIREMENTS:

• 2-4 years of professional web development experience
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design principles
• Solid understanding of web standards and a commitment to developing accessible websites
• Experience with Twig or similar templating language
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Attention to detail and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
• Experience with build tools (Vite, Laravel Mix) is a plus

This is a part-time, contract position with flexible hours.
