We have over 40 different clients using our products and services. We're looking for a Full Stack Developer, with strong frontend experience, to take responsibility for:
Working closely with the Digital Project Manager and internal Junior Frontend Developrs - making decisions on the distribution of work, what can realistically be delivered internally with the skills and resources available, and identify which projects should be outsourced to our UK based partners.
Overseeing the incoming tickets via the DestinationCore Service Desk, and working with the internal frontend development team to ensure all tickets are responded to, prioritised appropriately according to severity, and a plan is put in place a resolve tickets to client satisfaction in accordance with client SLAs.
Delivery of frontend development work to the highest possible standards, in line with client agreed Statement of Work.
Working with Junior Frontend Developer to develop their skills.
Enhancing and refining the coding standards of all members of the internal development team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a full stack developer with a few years experience to take the next step in their career, and begin to oversee multiple disciplines and workflows, whilst still maintaining a hands on approach.
The successful candidate will be working with a small and agile internal team, and alongside our UK based, outsourced development partners. They will assume overall responsibility for frontend coding standards. By doing so they will reduce the volume of service desk tickets received, improve the efficiency of delivery for new websites as well as website enhancements. Thereby ensuring customer satisfaction with the DestinationCore product.
EXPERIENCE YOU MUST HAVE
To be successful in this role you must have at least:
Commercial experience of CMS development (ideally CraftCMS).
An awareness of good UX and UI design.
Comfortable liaising with clients.
A minimum of three years commercial frontend development experience.

Some experience working in Agile teams, with Scrum and Sprints.

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS
This is a permanent role, and is an essential appointment in helping the DestinationCore team continue to deliver the exceptional customer service they have become renowned for. We operate a remote and flexible working policy. The normal working day is 8:45am to 5:30pm, with an hour for lunch, and you will be contracted to work 37.5 hours a week on the following basis:
Unless otherwise agreed you will attend the daily stand-up meeting at 9am.
Any flexible hours for the week MUST be posted in the ‘upcoming flexible working’ thread in the team Slack channel.
Every Tuesday and Wednesday there is an optional office working day.
There is a mandatory once a month ‘all team’ day in the office (dependant on your location). This is the first Wednesday of every month (where team lunch is provided).
You will be part of the DestinationCore development team lead by our Technical Lead, you will work closely with our Digital Project Manager, and oversee the Junior Frontend Developer.
