We are looking for a mid-weight to senior developer to join us. You will be working with an energetic creative team to build digital projects for our clients. We are an integrated brand consultancy, continually looking at ways to push the potential of digital from a functional and emotional perspective to support the larger brand narratives we create.
The job is to realise and build digital experiences, working closely with the team and our clients. We primarily use CraftCMS and work with front-end Javascript frameworks such as Vue to create fluid user experiences and maintainable code. Our work often extends beyond the browser and we continually encourage ways to bring code into the design process.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with the creative team to build digital brand experiences
- Problem solving with clients and the team to turn ideas into reality and produce the best technical outcome
- Ability to develop responsive websites and progressive mobile apps using best practices
- Build reusable code and libraries for future use
- Advise on best practice across a variety of applications from external facing websites to internal web-apps that help organisations
- Optimise applications for performance and scalability
- Developing and mentoring team members
Skills And Experience
- Proficient understanding of HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript / ES6, accessible HTML, CSS pre-processors such as Sass, cross-browser compatibility and REST
- Understanding of build tools such as Gulp and Webpack
- Familiar with package managers such as Yarn and NPM
- Good use of Node.js and client-side frameworks such as VueJS*, React and Angular
- Headless API CMS Experience (Such as Craft CMS*, Contentful)
- Ideally from an agency background working with designers to create the most technically brilliant, creative output
- Experience working with third-party API’s to build real world applications
