Job Summary

This position is responsible for leading the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of BeyondTrust’s digital properties. This role requires a talented software development professional with a deep technical background and experience building excellent user focused solutions; and who will drive forward innovation to deliver cutting edge solutions.

This is a permanent full time employment with BeyondTrust and can work 100% remote from US or Canada.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements, envisioning system features and functionality for new web products\technologies.
• Work with internal development team, vendors and agencies to extend digital platforms.
• Prioritize software development projects, setting timelines and breaking complex projects down into manageable tasks
• Design, code, and test scalable, high-quality, and high-performing enhancements to the corporate website and other Marketing owned digital properties
• Provide internal support for all digital marketing needs, including training users, troubleshooting issues, and making content changes as needed
• Improve the performance, availability, and scalability of the corporate website
• Integrate new tools using third party APIs
• Document changes to systems and processes (front-end, back-end, deployment, CMS, etc)
• Stay informed of emerging technologies and evangelize best practices

Requirements

• 7+ years professional experience in web development
• Proven experience leading development projects with an internal development team or an external vendor
• Expert knowledge of modern HTML and CSS
• Advanced knowledge of PHP and Javascript
• Experience architecting a complex website using a CMS such as Craft, ExpressionEngine, or Drupal
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs and JSON data structures from third parties into existing systems
• Experience with any Marketing Automation Platform as Eloqua, Pardot, or Marketo

• Experience with Twig or a template engine such as Symphony, Laravel, Liquid or Nunjucks greatly preferred

• Working knowledge of Git and source control
• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization
• Basic editing in Photoshop

• Must be an excellent communicator with management and marketing teams, and perform project oversight including defining projects, proposing concepts, gathering feedback, coding, and implementing solutions.

• Comfortable troubleshooting tasks on their own but will also ask questions if something is out of place or an opportunity presents itself to improve a system or workflow.
