Authentic is an evolving web firm that focuses in the urban space, offering creative services and digital tools including the Amplify platform. We strategize, design, develop, and maintain a variety of websites and web products, and are currently seeing growth inside the urban, CRE, development, and F&B industries.

Details & Role
We're looking for a supportive and reliable team member we can grow with, ideally becoming a key component with our growing company. You'll be brought into our company Slack and Asana groups, touching base as needed and reviewing active project work.
You will be expected to lead development on both small and large web projects, voicing your opinions on design decisions and user experience - we’re looking for someone who will be a voice for the user and strongly influence user experience on all of our projects.
Role Requirements
Ability to work and thrive in remote working environment
Ability to hone in and create remote-based daily work routines
Ability to communicate remotely, with emphasis on clear and concise writing, team task management, diligence on scheduled events, process and documentation oriented
Deep knowledge of frontend development, including: Semantic HTML/CSS, SASS, object oriented javascript, React experience is a plus
Comfortable working with Content Management Systems: We use Craft CMS
Comfortable working with build tools and terminal workflows: Grunt, Git, SSH, etc.
Ability to articulate development decisions and repercussions to internal team members and clients alike
Comfortable with leading QA on projects to add polish and bring them across the finish line
Strong user experience opinions are a must, as you will be expected to influence user experience on all of our projects, both those you are leading as well as those other developers are working on.

This is a contract to full time position. During the contract phase, you’ll become familiar with our processes and team, jumping right into active projects. If it makes sense for you (and for us) you’ll transition seamlessly to full time after three months on board.
